What does the Curriculum Committee do
The Curriculum Committee, chaired by Anne Winter, is responsible for receiving:
- termly Curriculum Reports from the school’s Senior Management Team
- subject presentations from the relevant Subject Coordinators, e.g. Literacy, Numeracy, Teaching of Foreign Languages…..etc.
- reports on Initiatives within the school, e.g. Anti-bullying, International Schools Award, Healthy Eating…etc.
- reports on SATs results.
This academic year we have also undertaken to review all the school policies, for which our committee is responsible. We have talked to the policy writers, found out about the teaching resources and visited relevant lessons.
It is a pleasure to be in school, where visitors are welcomed by children and staff alike, where there is the buzz of interest and enthusiasm and where displays of children’s work create a vibrant educational environment.
