Thank you to everyone who came along to the Quiz Night - a good time was had by all, not least by the winning team!  Congratulations to them, and I hope the heads weren't too sore the next morning - all that brain effort, you know ...!  As a result, we raised a whopping £300, so well done everyone.

The car boot sale was also a great success - the weather was quite kind, which always helps, and we raised £430, so a huge thank you to those of you who helped or who bought a pitch - hope it was worthwhile for you too!

Your child will be bringing home a flier about the paperback book we are hoping to produce in time for Christmas including contributions from every child in the school. PLEASE take a minute to complete and return the reply slip to school so that we can accurately ascertain how many books we will need to produce.  As stated on the note, you will not be obligating yourself by filling it in, but we would ask for numbers to be as accurate as possible to give us a reasonably good idea of numbers.  It is a fantastic project, one we feel is very worthwhile, and we hope you will all back it with us.
