Welcome to Year 1 with Mrs Stead and Miss Draper.

 Do you dare step inside our classroom...our spooky, imaginative classroom full of fantastic creatures and mystical happenings? Our topic at the moment is Fantasy Lands, and we are all very excitied about all our work.

We've been making props to go in our Fantasy Land role play area. We are making a Fantasy Lands book, and Lewis and Freya won a mini competition today to design the cover of the book.

Our forthcoming assembly (on the 21st May) will be all about this topic, and we are busy learning the song "Puff the Magic Dragon" to sing for you. It makes me (Mrs Stead) go all funny when the children sing it, because I remember it from Primary School, and loved it!
